Lakota Friends Circle is based in the village of Wanblee on the eastern edge of Pine Ridge. The Treasurer is Theresa High Horse and the Project Manager is her husband Jerome High Horse, both long time residents of Wanblee. Among many other functions they act as local distributors for donations from the national organizations Native American Heritage Association (NAHA) and Running Strong for American Indian Youth. Lakota Friends Circle provides the gas needed for the High Horses and their volunteers to distribute the donations locally.
