PINE RIDGE SKATEBOARD PARKS

Skateboarding on the reservation is a popular sport.  Two top-grade facilities have been built by the Stronghold Society (http://strongholdsociety.org/)  in Pine Ridge and Manderson .  The following video shows how these are bringing life changing experiences and a sense of community to Lakota youth in addition to being a means of exercise.
